Help A Friend

An unplanned pregnancy can create a crisis situation for your friend. She may be very upset over missing her period or other pregnancy symptoms. The staff at Pregnancy Resource Center can help her understand her pregnancy and choices for her next steps.

What You Can Do

You friend deserves to know the specific procedures of each available abortion method and their associated risks. She may also want to think about all her options, including parenting or adoption. There is a lot to consider, and we are here to support – just like you. Tell her about Pregnancy Resource Center and let us know if she would like to make an appointment. Our services are free and confidential.

Is She Considering Abortion?

Every year, Pregnancy Resource Center helps friends, boyfriends, and parents of girls who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. If you are helping her through this difficult situation, let us know how we can help. Our staff can answer all the questions you – or she – may have about her pregnancy and options available.

Don't Panic

If your friend is worried about being pregnant, the most important thing she can do right now is have a pregnancy test. Even if she has taken a home test, it may not be accurate. Pregnancy Resource Center offers free pregnancy tests that are medical-quality and more accurate than many home tests.

Pressure From Family And Friends

An unplanned pregnancy often brings added pressure from other people. Your friend may be worried about disappointing family and friends or losing a boyfriend or how a pregnancy might impact her career. These worries make it difficult for her to feel freedom about making informed choices. Pregnancy Resource Center can help her work through all the aspects of her situation, by providing information about abortion and her options. Our goal is to give her the freedom to choose what is best for her unique circumstances and herself.
